PsP Games – Review of PsP Blender

PsP games and downloads can be a very good way to get new games for your psp hand held. You can get psp games from many different websites. Most of these sites include psp music downloads, psp movie downloads and psp software downloads and of course PsP Games. Many of the databases are different from one site to another. Some sites offer a wide variety of different choices.

There are some things you should consider when choosing a site for psp games, is the ease of the download. The amount of time the download takes is another import aspect. This can be different from site to site. I have found that psp blender is one of the most popular sites that my friends are using. The download time is quick and they make it very easy to download the psp games, psp music and psp downloads software.

By now I have tried almost every site on the web and still psp blender ranks number one for my friends and I. There are quite a few sites that do offer a one time unlimited membership for under fifty dollars. This is a great way to get unlimited psp downloads without having to pay for new games, music and movies over and over again.

PsP Blender offers their site with a one-time membership fee for fewer than forty dollars. This is a great deal. Remember you usually get what you pay for from one site to another. I have tried other sites charging the same fees for less quality and quantity of psp downloads. Click here

When you have a wide variety of choice with psp games, music, movies, and more it will be like have a new psp in your hand every day. You will never get board playing the same thing over and over again.

One advantage to this is if you choose a game that sounds good and exciting and then you find it is a boring game you can just go back and try another. If you went to the store and bought one you would be stuck with that game and then have to buy another. It is truly great to have a choice and availability of so many games at your fingertips.

If you have already chosen a site to get your psp games that your not very satisfied with I would strongly recommend you try psp blender. You check their site out by clicking on the link at the top of my website. I know you will find continuous fun and great psp downloads if you decide to choose psp blender. Click here

I will continue to try out new sites as they come online. When I see a site that is worthwhile I will post a review on it. So come back from time to time to see what is new.

How To Download PSP Movies

PSP movies are all the rage nowadays. The reason for this is quite simple: The PSP is a very versatile piece of equipment. It allows portability for playing games in the form of small UMD discs that you can easily carry around.

The PSP was originally designed for portable video games.

However, recently more and more people start to use their Sony PSP as a portable video player to watch the latest movies in a quality that makes many other portable video player look like a gadget from the past.

Yes, you can buy many movies for your PSP on an UMD (Universal Media Disc), but if you are like me and you already have a huge collection of DVDs at home you don’t want to spend all that money again just to watch them on your PSP.

Insetad you want to convert your existing DVDs to your PSP – even if they are encrypted.

However apart from UMD disc, there are other ways of storing your PSP movies i.e. in your memory sticks. This is a simple guide on how to download PSP movies and games from your computer to your PSP.

When I am on a long distance flight and I already know the movies being shown – I pull out my PSP and watch my own movie or my favourite Star Trek episodes. Usually the batteries last for an 8 hour flight. This is becasue when watching downloaded movies the PSP only accesses the memory stick and does not read the movie from the UMD. What uses most of the energy is spinning the UMD. That’s why you can play 4 hours of video games (which are of course on a UMD) or watch 8 hours of high quality video.

What you will need is sufficient PSP memory stick. I would always recommend memory stick of at least 1GB, but if you do not have the sufficient resources (i.e. money) a 256MB Memory stick should be alright. Note: for a brand new memory stick you will need to format it. The other thing that you will require when installing a game to your memory card is your PSP Firmware version 1.5 or less. Later firmware version will not work. If you do have a later version of PSP, please consider downgrading you PSP.

In simple terms it is this; you will download your games from the internet into you PC and then transfer your game files to your PSP via a USB cable. When your computer is connected to your PSP, your PC will recognize your PSP as a detachable memory (similar to a USB drive). It will assign a drive (usually f:) and you will be able to drag and drop you PSP games file to your memory stick. These are some of the steps to download PSP movies and games.

Step 1

You must copy your PSP games or movie file to the correct path or the games simply would not work. The correct path is PSP-GAME (all the folder names are in caps)

Step 2

After the PSP games or movies are fully transferred to your memory stick, disconnect the PSP from your PC. In your PSP main menu, scroll to GAME and then select Memory Stick option. Press X, and list of available games in your memory stick will be displayed. If you find any error on your PSP, you might want to check your firmware version.

Free Psp, PS2 and PS3 Games and Psp Compatible Movies Using Torrents

There are many sites currently online which offer free downloads for PSP games like PSP Blender and PSP Wizard but they still cost around 35.00$ and 40.00$ for a decent download speed. Though these sites are great sources paying is not preferable in any case so why not use torrents? Torrents are not only good for movies but also great for PSP and PS3 games as well. What people do very often is Google or search for “free psp game downloads” or “free psp games” and download malware or spyware unsuspectingly in the quest for games which are absolutely free. That poses a security risk to your PC which is unadvisable.

Torrent Clients

So how to get totally free games, well for starters download uTorrent (utorent.com) or any good BitTorrent client. Sticking to uTorrent is good as it is barely a 200KB file and is very light on system resources, not to mention it runs like a breeze without any trouble. Before beginning to download it is suggested that you have the Windows XP firewall turned on and that the torrent client is listed under exceptions (even in other firewall software), if not then your downloads will be considerably slower. Also recommended is a minimum 256Kbps broadband connection with an equal upload capability (basic rule to good torrent sharing is upload as much as you download). For perfect security also have a good anti-virus software of your choice installed.

Downloading the Torrent and Speeds

After the initial preparations have been completed then go to a good torrent indexing service such as torrentz.com or mininova and search using basic keywords such as psp games, psp, ps3 games, ps2 games,ps2 or just ps3 as per the console you own. Running the torrent is quite simple, download the *.torrent file (example Stacked.torrent) open it using the torrent client, then click on the utorrent compatible list link on the indexer page, copy the trackers (these are services which index the file so more people can share, remember more people sharing means more peers and seeds, which translates into faster downloads). Paste these trackers using the advanced tab when the file is opened in the torrent client (there will be pre-existing trackers just remove them or paste over them for the best performance). Click ok and you are ready to go, the download starts, the download speed is usually 120KB for a 1Mbps connection (figures in per second) so a 100 MB file takes around 14-15 minutes to download (speeds are never constant).

ISO and CSO Formats

The best part about all this is that the files in the current torrent file can be viewed prior to downloading (just the names) and if the files are .iso or .cso (image files of PS games) you are on your way to go. Just copy them into the games folder of your memory stick and they will show up as games ready to play. For all the PS consoles the basic element to remember before you go through this procedure is that there has to be customised firmware and the Home Brew application previously installed for any of this to work and they also are available for download with instruction files on how to customise the firmware.

There are also PSP compatible movies which are pre-encoded to run directly by copying them into the movies folder of the PSP to which may be downloaded using the torrent trackers and files, so no more painstakingly converting movies or spending on expensive mp4 converters. The movies are already in the prescribed format so they may be directly played. The procedure for a movie torrent is the same as for games. The process requires a little more patience than direct downloading but hey its completely free and that makes this worth it.
